FELICITATION OF STAFF AND STUDENTS

ACADEMIC ACHEIVEMENTS IN 2019 (19/12/2019)

 

The Management along with the Examination Committee of Royal Dental College felicitated and honoured students and teaching staff of the Institution for academic excellence in the University Examinations of 2019.

The “Sameeha Memorial Award” was awarded to Fathima  Farhath  (2014 - 2019) for being the best outgoing student in the academic year. The parents of Fatima Farhath were also invited for the felicitation , called up on stage and honored by the management and staff for the support given to her for this achievement. 

Other students of different batches who secured distinctions and highest marks in the subjects were also felicitated. Teaching staff of each subject and departments were  honoured  for their dedication and hardwork for the fruitful academic results.

The programme was graced by the Honourable Chairman Ismail Kunju Haji, Principal Dr. Anuradha Sunil, Vice-Principal Dr. Shaju George Chammanam, heads of departments, teaching faculty, non- teaching staff and other management representatives. It was well organized by the Exam Committee Chief Co-ordinator Dr. Shajahan PA and Co-ordinator Dr Rishi Emmatty with the support of college student union members led by  Sainul  Abid   and Krishnajith . 

It was a joyous occasion wherein all the Royal Dental College family rejoiced and celebrated the achievements. It is hoped that RDC will have many more such joyous occasions in future!!

 

FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AND FACULTY

1.Saranya Suresh Kumar was honoured by Dr Sivanandhan for the highest marks 473

2.Sruthi .S, Emmy Joshy T, Shiny P Joseph, Shefreeba Shirin were honoured by Vice Chairman for distinctions.

3.Staff in Department Of General Anatomy and Oral Pathology were honoured by Chairman for securing  pass percentage of  87%.

SECOND YEAR STUDENTS AND STAFFS

1.     Monica Thomson was honoured by Dr Rohit Raghavan (HOD -Prosthodontics) for the highest marks  of 696

2.     Gayatri, Binija JM, Hasna, Archana C, Lemiya Ashraf Karuvath, Maria Anna Geevarghis were honoured by Secretary and the Treasurer for the distinctions.

3.     Department Of Prosthodontics And Conservative Dentistry were honoured by Dr Biswas (HOD -Orthodontics) for securing pass percentage of 96%.

THIRD YEAR STUDENTS AND STAFF

1.     Anjana PS was honoured for securing the top position.

2.     Department of General Surgery was by Dr Anjana (HOD-Pedodontics) for securing 96%.

FINAL YEAR PART 1

1.     Sonia Chacko was awarded by Dr Biniraj (HOD-Periodontics)for securing the top position

2.     Department of Oral Medicine was honoured by Dr Hari Prasad (Professor -Orthodontics)for securing pass percentage of 100%

FINAL YEAR PART 2

1.     Anjitha PR was awarded for top position

2.     Department of Prosthodontics and Conservative Dentistry was honored by              Dr. Ranjith Kalliath and Dr. Nithish Kumar for securing the highest percentage 85%

DEPARTMENTS WITH MORE THAN 90% PASS PERCENTAGE IN THE 2019 ACADEMIC YEAR

1.     Department Of Oral Medicine 100%

2.     Department Of Prosthodontics And Conservative Dentistry 96%

3.     Department Of General Surgery 96%

4.     Department Of General Medicine 94%

5.     Department Of Oral Pathology 91%

PG SECTION

1.     Dr. Hridya KG secured Third rank in MDS examination honored was by Chairman

2.     Dr. steffi Rachel secured Third rank in MDS examination honored was by Principal

BEST DEPARTMENT AWARD

Best Department award for the academic year of 2019 was given to Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology for achieving the highest pass percentage of 100%.

Mementos were given to the Department faculty Dr Ajmal Mohamed (HOD),                   Dr. Lakshmi Priya Das, Dr. Athira A R, Dr. Nimisha (Assistant Professors)

SAMEEHA MEMORIAL AWARD

The highest prestigious Sameeha Memorial Award of 2019 academic year was for  Dr Fathima Farhath for her outstanding academic performance. The award was given in the presence of her parents. Her parents were also honored by the teaching staff and management for their nurturing and the support given to her.
